Something's in the Water at SOC

SendOutCards just recently added new gifts for kids including creative activity kits and some classic tales like the Three Little Pigs and Cinderella. Just in time, it seems, for what’s been going on at our home office. “It’s strange”, we’ve heard some of you say, “There has to be something in the water at SOC.”

What is this anomaly you’re asking? Well, if you made it to convention, you may have seen several pregnant employees walking around, and what you didn’t see was the spouses of SendOutCards employees who are also pregnant. Here’s the scoop:

Natalie Barfuss, the marketing director, is out on maternity leave. She just had twins!

Ryan Tranmer, the creative director for our design department just welcomed a new baby into the world as well. You may have seen one of his kids on the cover of the Success From Home magazine.

Steve Diamond, our full-time liaison with the post office just found out last week that his wife is pregnant.

The manager of our Gifting department, Loralee Babcock, is ready to have her first child, and there are two more employees as well who are pregnant or whose spouses are.

There is definitely something here in the water at SOC. But just as our families are growing, so is the company. We are currently installing a fourth iGen printer for the approaching holiday season and are running out of Success From Home magazines much quicker than we anticipated. Thanks for helping us not only meet but obliterate our goals.

This year has been great, and we look forward to an equally energetic end-of-the-year with our challenges, seminars, rank advancements, and being able to print out 400,000 cards in a twenty-four hour period with four iGens backing us up. And guess what, YOU helped make that possible. Thank you for everything you do!
