The Dying Wish of a 4-Year-Old Boy
A couple of weeks ago, SendOutCards distributor, Sharon Kruep, had the founder of a charity company join her organization. The company raises money for families of sick children. The founder of this company told Sharon about a family that were participating in their program from Missouri, the Thurmans. The Thurmans have a four-year-old son named Colton who was recently told he has 6-12 months to live. The founder of this company asked Colton's mother what they can do for him, and her reply was that her son didn't want candy or toys, or even a trip to Disneyland; amazingly, he just wanted cards. It just so happened that Sharon was involved in the greeting card industry, and she passed this story our way.
Colton's desires to receive greetings cards over anything else shows us how important it is for us to continue our crusade and that we truly can change the world one card at at time. We want to help make this final wish come true for Colton and hope you'll not only take a moment to send a card or two yourself, but that you'll help everyone you know do the same. Here's the address where cards can be sent:
Colton Thurman
34 Blue Bird Lane Unit 4C
Lake Ozarks, MO 65049
Thanks for helping us spread some joy to this young boy during the remaining months of his life.

I'm sending a card, absolutely, I'm trying to get everyone I know to send a card. This is so sad and touching.
What a touching story. I'm sending a card tonite and passing this on to my downline. My prayers are with Colton and his family.
I'm sending my card out today!
I just sent a card, and I'm passing this on to my down line as well.
I'm new to SOC's. This is a great thing to do for such an
unfortunate reality for this boy + all who know him.
An Idea for us!
As part of our program we give a gift account to prospects and most only send one card. Copy and paste Colton's story into an email and send to all your prospects that still have a card or two left to send and ask them to send one to Colton. Maybe this will help them understand the importance of giving!
passed out to all my clients and team..and will send a card...it is what we would want for our kids!!!!
I will surely send him a card & post this blog on all my social networks to spread the word. This is a great & simple thing to make a boy's last days enjoyable.
This is what its all about..reaching out to others. Thank you for sharing with us yet another way to brighten someones life!

sent a 3 panels for Colton, I am sure he will love it!
I have been in touch with the Thurman family and they are overwhelmed with your thoughtfulness and compassion. Colton's favorite time of the day now is checking the mail and just yesterday he received over 100 cards! Thank you for bringing joy to Colton and making his wish come true! It is such a blessing to be a part of a company that literally changes lives one card at a time!
Many blessings to you!
Sharon Kruep
